Front cycle light (doesn't conform to any BS standards, but probably good as an extra light) 25p

Back cycle light (same as above in doesn't conform): 30p

Wow, I thought they were cheap at a pound or so! You're talking about the 'kidney' style lights I presume?

If you are, the fronts are green and a bit crap. The rears are good though and in any case they're practically disposable since you're getting 2 batteries with every one.

Yeah, they are the kidney style ones. The front is green. I paid £10 at a bike shop to get some bike lights fitted (the fitting was no extra cost so I thought I'd be lazy), and they were both kidney style ones, the front one green. So even though I thought it was cheap, looks like I was wrong!

Aldi at Hull - Bev Rd, had 1 pair of Crane cycling shoes in yesterday, size 10 for £9.99

I bought some Crane shoes from Ali in size 12 last year for £4. I thought they were trainers (and I didn't have a working bike then), does that mean I bought cycling shoes?

Looks like some excellent bargains to be had in the sale section at Dales Cycles, quite a few Gore products, here's a few examples....

Endura Hummvee 3/4 shorts £32.49
Gore Countdown FZ jersey £29.99
Gore Contest SO jacket £39.99
Gore Xenon & Alp-x ladies jackets £57.49 & £59.99
Specialized 2D S-Works helmet £59.99

I was looking at the Merida waterproof pannier bag, it doesn't say how big it is though, anyone got one of these?

Forgot to mention, Sainsbury's had innertubes for £2 each (they were 20 inch and 26 inch in my local one).I once got a cool bag for bikes that looks like an handlebar bag from home bagains for around £3 a while ago. It had a waterproof cover, but I lost that. The bag seems waterproof anyway! I also got a Bell gel seat cover for 99p from there.

Got these from a bike jumble for £20. I don't think I was robbed, do you?

Anybody got any idea of the age and likely price of these shoes?

My local Lidl (Salford) has the cycling stuff back, though there is no mention of it on their website. The wireless computer has sold out though (around £3.90). And just shirts, no shorts. Backpack seems pretty flimsy too (think it's about £4) and not very big. They've got some cycling shoes too, but they only go up to size 11 (I'm a 12 so no good for me!), around £20.They've got single panniers for around £11.40, shirts I think were around £6.50 (sorry can't remember exact prices, it would help if they listed them on their website!).

For anyone who has bought the red and white flashy LED pair of lights from Tesco or has similar which use CR2032 betteries.
Of course - it's almost cheaper to buy new!;) bBut, in Poundstretcher, they are selling 4 x CR2032 + 4 x CR2025 for 99p The 2025s are thinner but do the same job with help from a teensy bit of blu tak to stop them rattling...
Longevity? Don't know but I changed three of mine last night - perfectos!
