I have a spare sigma BC5.12 going good for the cost of postage. Decided I prefer the Knog better.
Thanks, but I don't *need* anything, just disappointed I missed the opportunity!

Wow! Two hundred sheets for a pair of shorts? What are they made of unicorn leather?Wiggle have a good deal on clothing - £15 off £100 and £40 off £200. My wife is getting me £210 Assos shorts (better be worth it!) which she had to order in my name to get my discount. That then brought them to £199.50 so had to add £3 socks to get whole lot down to £162.50. Still a lot for shorts but I am assured they are good!
I had no notification for my Sigma 12.12 so went in store to discover yes they did have it; took them about 10 minutes to find it. Not only is the email / text communication wobbly but there is obviously no organisation in store of where ordered stock is kept; "could be upstairs, downstairs or in the back or..."
In other words,no sore ar@e !Have just been on the wiggle site to look up these shorts. The description is a superb bit of translation / salesmanship.
"The unique insert is a small masterpiece that has been specifically designed for ultra-long-distance missions. Ergonomically shaped, it uses higher density memory foam shock absorbers and features a very special ASSOS invention, kuKuPenthouse. In the front section of the insert there is a low volume circular inlet that accommodates the male anatomy in cocoon-like comfort, yet holds everything securely. "
ku ku penthouse? For ku ku's sake.Have just been on the wiggle site to look up these shorts. The description is a superb bit of translation / salesmanship.

And it's not a good picture. I mean, isn't the penthouse usually the highest bit? Which would make those shorts literally A*** about face!ku ku penthouse? For ku ku's sake.
…
Mm, i think i'm getting the picture.
I think these are Assos not Rapha shorts, but you could be correct on Rapha wearers regardlessku ku penthouse? For ku ku's sake.
Cocoon for the rapha wearer's "anatomy". So the rapha wearer's, er, anatomy is some sort of mushy insect larva?

And this bit of the anatomy only needs a low volume allowance made for it.
Mm, i think i'm getting the picture.
My point was about £40 off at Wiggle if spending a lot on kit, not arguing whether ££163 was too much on shorts. For my 4th Ironman I have decided to give Assos a try and will keep you posted as to whether 2-3 times the price of regular kit has any benefit!
