I see CycleSurgery are selling the rather nice looking Altura Podium jersey for £34.99, half price:

Planet x have Sram force and rival hydraulic rim brake and levers for £89 each, may be a niche market but a bargain compared to the rest of the online retailers nonetheless
Also have the red22 version for £144

I know it has been mentioned before but Decathlon are still doing the Triban 3 for £150 in smaller sizes. Just picked one up for my 12 year old. Can't grumble at that price and better spec'd than the replacement model.

I have got the grown up version and can't fault it so far. Makes me feel like getting one of these small ones and holding on to it until one of my lads is big enough. They are only 3 and 6 at the minute!

Ordering Oakleys from The States directly is the best bet , as long as they are OFFICIAL Oakley stockists....

Except with the appalling exchange rate and the tax and import charges, I doubt the deals are so good and worth the hassle. Plus the risk of getting fakes as you point out. I personally wouldn't bother to save a tenner but ymmv

I have RX Oakleys which were silly expensive from a uk stockist (although did get a discount), checked prices previously in the US while there, no great saving

This afternoon, we bought a Specialized Tricross Sport for Mrs Scoosh/ daughter Scoosh (they're not quite fighting over it but 'trying to decide who gets it').
The sellers are a couple emigrating to Australia and also have a larger one available. I've seen these bikes and they are a bit of a steal at £200.

The frame is an XXL but he's only 6' 2", so it's not an excessively large frame.
