Thanks for that. Good price. But there is very little info on that link about what is actually in them. Apart from sodium. And the water for "hydration" you of course add yourself.

I had one arrive as well this morning, for a jersey it's not thin really as it's got that brushed (roubaix) on the inner side. With a Merino baselayer, you could wear that pretty much down to freezing point. It's certainly thicker than my club long sleeve or On One merino long sleeve jersey I own. Certainly worth a tenner.
My blue/black one arrived this morning, absolutely delighted with it.Mine arrived this morning. They are very thin. Not winter gear. For 9.99. inc postage though, still a good buy.
Surely it will be fine layered - decent base layer and a light windblocking top when needed?Mine arrived this morning. They are very thin. Not winter gear. For 9.99. inc postage though, still a good buy.
Yes it will be fine with a base layer and a wind blocking top. That is the point I was trying to make.Surely it will be fine layered - decent base layer and a light windblocking top when needed?
The large measures 52cm pit to pit.Anyone get a LARGE of those Altura tops? If so, can you tell me about chest measurement size and sizing in general? Have had two Altura large tops - one fine, other way too thin/snake like.
I have it here in the office if you would like any other dimensions. Many thanks Leaway - never come across that measurement before, or the name for it, but very useful.
Many thanks for the offer Leaway but no need - I've checked your measurement against an Altura largte top I have and also the Altura sizing chart available on the Edinburgh Bike Co-Op web site
http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/info/clothing-sizing-guide/
and yours matches - the large it is for me.
Like my existing one it is maybe somewhat long in the arms so I may look slightly rumpled but that is no great issue - better than too short especially if you ride stretched out.
I think the other Altura large I bought in a sale which turned out to be for a snake must have been leftover from a different product/sizing generation - never wore it - gave it away though it is possible that after my recent weight loss it would actually be fine.
Thanks again.
