Ive used the Sealskinz for the last two winters. The zips are still good, they have lasted well enough. The fabric elasticated bit under the toe has worn through in the middle where my spd shoes have a nobble but it isnt spreading. The heel loops have stayed attached.i did about 12000km last year commuting and riding at the weekend and probably use them 6 days a week between november and march. I would say the quality was good. I originally bought a pair of Ridge from Halfords and the heel loop stitching gave way the first time i pulled them on. I took them back and paid the extra tenner for the Sealskinz.

For the bargain shoppers just been to lidl for the shop and it's obviously bike week;

Soft shell jackets 11.99
Tops 5.99
Trip computers 4.99
Repair racks 24.99

Also had socks sunglasses shorts mitts as well. Some of the clothes looked really quite alright to be honest

Be honest. No they don't. They're overshoes and as such never look anything other than silly.
They look a whole better than the Ridge overshoes I had just bought previously to the Sealskinz, they look as though I'm wearing welly boots! Wore the Sealskinz for a 50+ miles ride at the weekend and they did as required kept the feet warm and dry, just need to see how long they hold out. So far so good for tenner.

Mrs W just bought 2 tops and a soft shell jacket for me while in Lidl, the quality looks to be pretty good compared to other more expensive gear I've got. The only issue was the sizing, the shirts in XL are perfect but the jacket in XL was too big so just been and swapped for a L, which is spot on.

Do Lidl do any of the "baggier" style shorts? Not a lycra bloke and have only ever used cargo shorts that I used to wear out on my commute !

I can recommend these when they are on half price - which is often - never buy anything "full price" from Mountain Warehouse.

Not super baggy not super Lidl cheap but very good - in many ways I prefer them to my expensive Enduras.

Light. Near indestructible I reckon.
