Oooh need a new Gilet whats the sizing like, normally large but italian fit stuff like sportful I`m XL ?

What size chest are you?
I ordered size XL and found it to be small fitting (I have a 42"-43" chest). I have returned the gilet and ordered an XXL which should arrive tomorrow.
With Endura & Altura I'm ok with a large.

You maybe a bit bigger than me, normally get by with L in altura, endura etc . Italian stuff and spanish stuff XL. depends on whether you like racefit. Spec sizing guide puts me in a large ??

I would ignore the sizing guide on this occasion and go with an XL. I have other specialized clothing in XL which is fine, these Gilets do seem very small fitting around the chest.

Altura Vapour waterproof jacket, up to £120 elsewhere, £79 in others but Merlin are adding a 10% discount so I just bagged one of these for just £45. Reviews elsewhere say to go up a size as they are 'race fit' but with 4.5-5 star ratings it seems a massive bargain

plus 4.95 postage. Ordered 3 tees and 2 pairs of socks for an extra fiver. Might be worth keeping an eye on to see if stuff drops further in price, apparently they are somewhat up the creek with a significant loss on TdF, I suspect a bit like a number of firms made a loss on the Olympics by over ordering merchanise although it probably goes deeper that that here.
