If poundland haven't got the specific bike cleaner in just look in the kitchen cleaning stuff and get the Elbow Grease yellow stuff in a squirty bottle I use it all the time and all my mates are onto it now as well, at the end of the day degreaser is degreaser........

Used that before in my winter commuter but worried about using it on the good bike some of these degreasers can be a bit caustic ?

I've got those, they are excellent.
Only niggle is having to tuck the lace under the velcro panel, but they do keep your feet lovely and warm!
