Its just gone back up to £800 on my browser...not sure what happened there.

Edit - it seems my internet connection at work must use a US proxy or something as Evans thought I was browsing from the USA....which made the price £660ish - but with £125 delivery charge!

I changed it back to UK and the price went back to £800.

Just found this, Mekk Poggio 1.5 carbon road bike down to £650 with Shimano Sora groupset I think it's a bargain!

The £125 delivery charge is the problem! I'm contracting at a US based company so the web traffic must go through US proxy servers at some point as every UK site I visit thinks I'm browsing from the US!

Now that is a bargain - Ventura CP50 (has been even lower at £399.99) ok I do have one! Similar spec to the mekk, the older poggio 2.0 used the same frame. You have to look beyond the incorrect and terrible description and details given on the web page, it is Argos after all.

Yeah spotted that, but having seen the Argos pricing over the past couple of months, nothing surprises me! The price has been up and down like a "yo yo", but one frame size being a high price one being a low price is a new one!
