@User - does the mug fit into a bike's bottle-holder, so it can be used during winter rides ?
I've tried that but it rattles in mine so I put it in the pannier (which I suspect helps to keep the drink warmer too). Might work with a sock around it as there is a little space?

Spare sock - I've got trainer ones on today, and if its as warm out at lunch as yesterday then they are coming off and the birkenstocks are going on!

I can't find a link but on the back of this weeks cycling weekly Merlin cycles are advertising Ultegra 6770 Di2 shifters and derailleurs for £499.99. If i hadn't just bought wheels today i'd be hunting that down i think.

Anyone with a mountain bike can, once again find 26" inner tubes in Poundland.

There, there is also a tool kit, whilst remarkable for some awful looking levers and multi-spanner, it does contain various sizes of foil backed patches and a semi-large, 12 ml or maybe 12 grams container of rubber solution.

Received mine today, chose medium and they are a good fit. I'm 5' 9" with a 32 waist.
