I spotted bike cleaner, which looks like a muck off copycat in pound land today, so picked up a bottle.

if it's any good I will stop paying for the real stuff.

Anybody else tried it?

I use it all the time when they have it but it does tend to sell out and dissapear for months but I think it is as good as muck off

For a start Muc Off is pretty poor for the price they charge - it's around £6 a litre isn't it?

Secondly the £ shop stuff NEVER sells out of it at our local and from experience it is utterly useless. The only thing it shares with the overrated Muc Off is the colour.

The BEST degreaser and bike cleaner IMO and anyone who has actually seen the light and cleans their bikes is Fenwicks - £8.99 for http://www.evanscycles.com/products/fenwicks/fs1-cleaner-concentrate-ec020494

That makes 11 litres of Muc Off beater and can be used neat. Works out a lot cheaper than even the £ shop gack.

Funnily enough people don't seem to listen on this thread.....

I will agree with you that muc-off is not worth the £5 - £10 price tag but I find the £land as good as it and worth the price but I will at some point try your suggestion of Fenwicks

Don't normally link to eBay auctions, but this could be a real bargain for a very tall person. I think it's been relisted, so could well go for the starting price of £649:

WITTSON Custom 011 Road Titanium 61cm Frame Set cane creek lynskey moots

Sorry, struggling with hyperlinks on this new fangled iPad. Search the above on eBay, it's obvious what it is!

Some Aldi stores are clearing the last of the cycling event gear. In my local Aldi (Burton on Trent) I found the last Large (loads of small, med and XL left though) pro padded Tights reduced from £19.99 to £6.99 on the sticker but then they scanned at just £3.99! so thinking I was being clever I went to the next nearest Aldi (Swadlincote) they had some large left but they still scanned at £14.99 there:rolleyes: the woman on the till didn't believe Burtons price until I produced the reciept..... but she wouldn't/couldn't match it (but didn't expect her too anyway) but might be worth you checking out your Aldi if your passing
