Out of the 6 bikes 3 are completely 26" presta, 2 are 700c presta and one is 26" presta & 26" scrader... would really like to kill off the schrader concept in this household.... however I have a feeling that there may be another rear wheel upstairs to his bike probably with the winter marathon still on it from last easter and suspect that is the other presta... must check before ordering....

You can get little rubber grommets that reduce the hole diameter !

Decathlon have got these 100% merino tops which i`ve been using as base layers , the long sleeve ones at £5.99 are brilliant I bought 2 then have just bought another 2 . The v neck is just a slight v so not too low on the neck/chest and they are very soft non itchy wool.

.

They are indeed very nice. But by the time I managed to get to my local Decathlon yesterday all that was left was a single one, XXL.

And no stock showing they said at pretty much all the others - maybe the gannets from here and elsewhere had descended

Good job you made sure you had your 4 before posting.

Anyway, loathe to waste the trip, I bought the XXL though I'm probably Large (or even medium in non slinky stuff) - arms somewhat long

Reasoned that it's a base layer so what the hell - will use it I think for chilly nights in camp when touring.

thanks again for posting here.

I saw this one too. but it's out of stock.
Do they normally apply the same price when it will be available again?

Pier

Nah - you just order at the price and they only charge you when back in stock to deliver. Nothing to lose really - unless of course you aren't in the market for a £36 leather saddle.

I wasn't when it was on before and was way more than I wanted or ever had paid before. Glad I did - it's a great saddle and at £36 is really cheap.

Ordered two online and got them today, for £16 delivered they're superb. As good as the one I paid £30 at mountain warehouse. Recommended.

Got my two delivered today. Agree well made and nice long arms which are good when riding. Can't grumble at anything for the price.

I did this not long ago on my MTB rims. Advice on the net was to use 3/8" rubber grommets, cheaper than bike-specific items. I used these.

One grommet used on each rim, inserted with a strong thumb from the rim-tape side of the hole (mine and I presume most are double walled). It was a bit tight passing the valve stem through for the first time but they soon mold nicely to shape
