Decathlon have got these 100% merino tops which i`ve been using as base layers , the long sleeve ones at £5.99 are brilliant I bought 2 then have just bought another 2 . The v neck is just a slight v so not too low on the neck/chest and they are very soft non itchy wool.

Also these t-shirts are a good base as well, I bought 2 .

Also bought a pair of these as the sole has come off of my 10 year old Lakes.

Reduced to £59.99 from £129.99. They came today , I bought a size larger , 43,than my size 8 feet and they fit just right with a thick pair of socks . They have a stretch lace , which would tighten down more for thinner socks ,then the cover over that and 2 velcroe straps and the ankle cuff strap. Haven`t worn them out yet but they look well made and are very comfortable not too tight across the toe area and feel snug. Seem a good price.

Those Merino tops are a bargain. Two ordered.

Those merino tops look great - I notice though that it describes them as for:

"gentle gymnastics, yoga and pilates"

are they OK for cycling? If it's pure merino surely they must be? Maybe they are just trying to deter cchat bargain hunters.

Do they wash well?

It says 100% merino, then get some. Might get myself some at that price. Got two aldi ones. They are great as a base layer as they are naturally anti bacterial !

The t-shirts wash up fine, i`ve just got the long sleeve ones and not washed them yet but the quality is good. As for what the website says about being for Yoga etc ignore that they are merino wool and suitable as base layers ,they also feel better on than my planet x ones. At £5.99 each they are well worth a shot.

I'm sure they're fine, my merino baselayer is just a long sleeved t-shirt at the end of the day. I'll be checking how they compare to it as I've ordered two . £16 delivered, what can go wrong?
