No problem guys - glad to have helped genuine cyclists. I was annoyed that someone from this thread posted the £9.99 KMC on HOTUK here http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/kmc-chain-10-speed-superlight-gold-9-99-amazon-1659041 just for "heat" because all it did was alert Amazon to the price and let vultures like this guy, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KMC-X10SL...sure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item27da22746b make a quick buck without having a clue what they actually are.

He bought 25. Selling for £925 - £250 purchase price - excellent! He is selling Lego & garbage - no cycling stuff whatsoever.

Obviously a HOTUK vulture. - knocking this out a £15.99 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Quiksilve...35141345?pt=UK_Men_s_Bags&hash=item2a3274cae1 although only paid £1.97 each http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/qui...ssenger-bag-1-97-pc-world-ebay-outlet-1501333

If I find any more massive bargains then I may just PM some of the sounder posters on here. Weird how some of the other bargains posted on here don't turn up on HUK - oh well. People aren't interested in sharing or helping - more about utterly pointless "heat"! - LOL!

Cheers

Not the first time you've banged on about this. Surely you've got better things to worry about?

I can see why some people scored very highly on the "How stressed are you?" thread in Café. Haha. This is a great thread and I have enjoyed seeing the bargains, but there is no need to get all wound up about saving a few pounds or what other people do.

I don't know. If someone has the nous to buy cheap deals and sell them on at a profit, I say good luck to them.
Got to say I agree with stuungar - this it seems to me is supposed to be a place where folk with a common interest (cyclng I think) help each other out - a community - not a way of helping folk make a cheap or not so cheap buck (doubtless untaxed) - or maybe I should just sing a merry song and think of the wunnerful 80s (showing my age) where folk snapped up the nations bargains, sod the rest, and here we are in 2013. Some folk would flog their granny on ebay nation.

Apologies if this seems off topic (but it did come up) - will try to post some bargains if I see them.

Thanks to all who have posted them in the past - have only very rarely gone for them but they are good to see.

And who's to say these so-called profiteers are even reading this thread? It's a big interweb y'know..

AFAIC, calling people vultures because they're essentially traders is out of order. Having a thread posting up bargains is hardly taking the moral high ground anyway. If a company wants to shift stock on at a clearance price and others buy up the stock to sell on at a profit, so what? That's their perogative, and it's hardly a new thing. Just because you can make the link between the two sources because of the internet, doesn't mean it didn't before does it?
Considering that this isn't the first time this has happened (IIRC, the language previously used was worse), IMO the poster should get a life and worry about the bigger issues, not crying foul just because someone's trying to make a few quid.
Who's to say that said poster isn't a trader? Seems to post an awful lot in this thread...
