Clarks 55mm brake shoes £6.99, 2 pairs, good as Swisstops
Got my Fizik R3's size 48 today, ordered Tuesday night just tried them on and they feel very comfy. The instep is high but not uncomfy.
Even the wife likes them
I don't see the point in this!

Unfortunately Ribble don't have the 25s in stock either so I just plumped for these and saved a couple of pounds. Better than nothing.Only £2.53 less than Ribble, and you can buy them individually on Ribble. I can't see the 25mm ones on Merlin either.
Thanks, that's good to know. I am currently on Durano Plus so well used to a harsh ride so these may well feel better to meI can't really give a great review when it comes to how fast they roll, because I changed my wheels at the same time, but I find them nice and grippy through corners.
My mum is on her 3rd/4th pair and really rates them highly. They last pretty well, do well in the wet, and don't attract the p****** fairy until they're pretty worn (and she rides with the ctc, so often up down rubbish lanes covered in grit and stuff).
I want some 25s next because I find that these in 23mm @130psi is a fair bit less comfortable than the 25mm conti gatorskins @110psi that I used to have. I definitely feel the buzz from less than perfect road surfaces more than I used to, and I doubt that this is entirely down to the wheels.
Excellent hardwaring Tyre and long lasting...Excellent deal on Vredestein Fortezza Tricomp tyres from Merlin.
