Wisbech (Cambs) have at least 4 of the Shimano cable sets (according to the website) A bit too far for me to cycle.. But I am planning a "Tour de Halfords" tomorrow to get my ill-gotten reserved and collected gains from Colchester, Sudbury, Haverhill and Clacton. So if the sun is shining... maybe a trip to Cambs will be in order????

Not a cycling bargain but if Namecheap's tweet gets 15000 retweets by tomorrow, you can get a .com/org/net domain for under 70p. I'm gonna buy jazloc.com

Well , went to Halfords to get my 2 Moray courier bags at 80p each ok not the best made but for 80p they will do for local shopping trips on the bike when I don`t need my backpack. The shorts I ordered were in as well but the wrong size to what I ordered . But 2 out of 3 is better than my last buy and reserve where the items were in, then they weren`t and then it was an online error. They even phoned this time to let me know the items were in so Halfords is trying

Unlike most cycling stuff they don't come up small so don't buy large unless you need to.
Nice bit of padding if there too.

Gah. They're only available in Large and Extra Large and the description states:

  • Please Note: Sizes larger than stated by manufacturer, so please order smaller size than usual!
Looks like I'll have to pass on these! They're available elsewhere in smaller sizes but they're double the price.

or buy two for £14 ;-)

following on from jazloc's post.

That's an incredible bargain - I have a pair and they were always a good mid-lowish price short - maybe not quite as good as stuff costing £50 or so, but perfectly decent, good pad.

For anyone fortunate enough to be M (or XL also available) I'd snap a ton of these up for day to day cycling - unfortunately I'm L.

Ty Blue hills. I am sure that quite few of us on this forum have become known to friends as "Oh, him over there, he knows a bit about bikes" and are often presented with BSO's in dire need of a bit of TLC. New cables at least make them a bit easier to work on... I am going to buy 20 or so of these.
