Yeah, they're road brakes. CRC must have just listed them incorrectly. Also ordered £110 worth of hydraulic brakes for £18, what a deal!

they must be chucking it out at the moment, clearing out for the new year stuff, i keep getting emails saying that the sale has one more day - every day.

Yeah, looks like they're getting rid of the older stuff. The hydraulic brakes I ordered are a few models old, but I don't really mind that. Looking at them they're one of the models that requires no specialist kit to bleed either, so that's always good!

Had a look round Royles in Wilmslow's clearance unit yesterday.

they have a 54cm Litespeed with Dura Ace 7800 kit, Chris King headset and mavic Kysrium wheels for £2,200 ( I think)

must have been sitting in a dark corner for at least 3 years !!!

Got mine today, for the money they are alright, would not want to do loads of miles with them, pad feels a bit thin.

Mine arrived - they fit fine, but the sides are ... erm ... quite see-through

I think I'll keep one and throw the others on eBay in the spring/summer.

My wife has some bought last year in the sale. Very good and good enough to wear casually too.

It makes me wonder how/what they run with the sale? These shoes haven't been available all year and suddenly they have some??

I was undecided about 230mm or 290mm so went for the 290's. 230mm just doesn't sound like it would be long enough, even though I don't really have a long reach. Better too long and not grip right at the end than too short and be cramped, I would think (hope).
