Is the bracket the same size? Will it fit your Cateye bracket?

The Red Mist will click fit into the 610 bracket but it is a stiff fit. You would think, therefore, that the 610 would be a loose fit in the Red Mist bracket but it is still fairly firm. I also tried an old Cateye 1100 in the Red Mist bracket, which was also a stiff but smooth click fit.

If you're not planning on regular removal, the brackets are effectively interchangeable but it could be a bit of a pain to remove every time you park up. The edge profile of the 610 'plug' end is quite rounded whereas that of the Red Mist is square, so some light sanding of the latter could improve things.

The Red Mist brightness appears to be identical to the 610. The only key differences appear to be a slightly lower quality power button and having it power off by stepping through the light patterns rather than a long press. Also, the batteries do not go in as smoothly as the Cateye - it's clearly a copy but not an exact one.

Just bought these : Scott Premium Road Shoes.

Reduced to £85 from £249. Loads of other places have them, but not as cheap as this?

Well comfy shoes too. Great fastening system.

I've got a pair, not used them yet with all the bad weather but roll on the spring!

I needed some cleats to go with them, so bought some lovely Shimano 105's black pedals that include the cleats for £31.99 from Merlin cycles.
Why just buy cleats when you can buy them with some nice new pedals as well!!

ProBikeKit are selling Blackburn Airstik Any Valve pumps for £6 - usual price is £20. Ordered two !

Will pump up to 90psi, which is enough for emergency IMHO. I've got the more expensive Carbon Airstik for road rides and it's been great, but I'll use these for commute/family rides.

I'm after a pump ... but probably one with a flexible tube. But I am tempted!

I received that email too. Good prices but I'm gonna hold out (with high hopes) for a clearance sale of some sort as can't warrant the money just yet. Still kick myself for missing out on the 705 at halfords for dirt cheap some time back.
