My Altura Nevis Jacket arrived today. If I didn't know it had a mark and where to look for it I'd never have noticed it. It's the lightest mark I've ever seen.

Got mine yesterday, looks good, the mark is minimal, what's not so good that after 50 odd mile today the water was running out of it, boil in the bag comes to mind. Glad I didn't pay the full price for it

I have found that the Nevis comes into its own at temperatures of zero or below especially with high wind chill factor. It really is a cold weather jacket.

I'm going with Andy on this one.
Don't ride it uphill if there is no wind, even when freezing!

I imagine my use will be for heavy rain days only.

There are some very decent budget beginners gems on the Sports Direct site.

Thankfully British cycling has not become like our tennis which has somehow managed to get participation down to a minuscule one tenth of that of France.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
They have excellent reviews DC. Only just ordered some so not here yet to review.

OK - 2 red/black ones ordered as replacements for whenever the current tyres on my 3 bikes run out ... (having just replaced 2 on the Carrera) - in all honestly they'll probably go on the Fulcrum 5 wheels, with those tyres (Vittorio Rubino Pro Slick's) onto the Secteur comp standard wheels.

My own jacket (for Boris Bikes home from the office) arrived today at work. Exactly as described - well nearly - if I didnt know where to look for the mark, I don't think I would have found it!

They are not expensive jakets - not by any yard stick; but £14 incl P&P - glad that I got one

I currently have them on my bike and have just bought a 2nd set, not from Fudges Cycle Store unfortunately!

I love them, very low rolling resistance, a very fast tyre and very (touch wood) puncture resistant. Saving my new set for my upcoming sportive in April.

My main cycle jacket is the Endura Stealth Jacket which comes in at £169.99 it's an excellent jacket and I love it but couldn't resist the bargain that was the Altura Nevis as a spare.
