If you're after Sealskinz Ultra Grip gloves, there's an eBay seller doing them at £12.50 a pop at the moment. They were £10 - I got a pair for that.

The downside? They're in hi-viz only

I was bought one of these More Miles from Start Fitness off my son for my Christmas box, and to say I'm rather impressed with it. The jacket is both light and well vented, zipped under arm vents and a flap vent across the back of the jacket help keep the heat down (no boil in the bag so far).

Two pockets, large one at the back (has a flap covering the zip) and one to the left side, it's also highly reflective at night (tested with cycle lights at distance) internally it has a mesh lining.
(why type what the stats are when you can read them on the web page) ;)

I've covered about 30 miles wearing this jacket (I know not a great distance) and so far it's performed very well, at £29.99 from Start Fitness I think it's a very good buy. Come in other colours too

I have to say I'm well impressed...ordered yesterday and came today the quality and fabric used is the same as my Cannondale top of which i paid the earth for off now to order OH a new top...

FWIW I go in to the Start Fitness shop on a regular basis, some of their older jackets were too short in the back and the arms. But the staff listen to what you have to say about their clothing. This years range is much better. The staff I've spoken have been runners, cyclists a long jumper and all seem genuinely interesed in their products and customers. Not like some of the other kit shifters I could mention.

I popped into Decathlon today. They have their £24.99 waterproof overshoes for a tenner.

I've just ordered these panniers, they're an absolute bargain at 40 quid (half price) from ChainReactioCycles http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=57993. I usually only need a top rack bag, but occasionally need the side panniers. They're for my recumbent, so being able to fold up the panniers means I don't lose those vital extra mph's through wind drag. Oh, and you don't need the topeak rack, these just fasten with velcro....ideal!

Additional. These arrived yesterday and I am over the moon with them. The fold out panniers are far bigger than I expected, almost as big as my 'normal' panniers and they look really hard wearing as well. The telescopic top on the rack bag should also come in handy.

+1 - I picked up a pair this weekend too. Worn them every day this week - no more wet/numb toes.

They have a fair bit of their cycling stuff on sale at the moment. There is a bargain section at the end of the aisle that we got some bits and bobs from - Some lycra tights for the Mrs were there for a daft price so we picked them up - well worth stopping by.
