Good afternoon,

This is a one-off second hand sale in my local Cash Convertors, but it seems to be such a good item that it is worth mentioning.

As far as I can tell it is unused or someone has gone to great lengths to simulate unused.

At £299 it is a tad under half the new price, it is a Halfords acquired brand like Boardman was and if you want this sort of a bike then great, for me it is a bit heavy to be a commuter bike as it is not rack friendly so I would still need a rucksack.

But if it hangs around I probably would have it at £200!

SPD pedals with cleats £15

or ball bearing ones for £10.
I bought some stuff from here the other day, quick delivery and I can highly recommend their sunglasses well made and come in a really nice case.

look like rebranded wellgo pedals , i have the boardman ones .
OK for that price but the bearings are not as good as m520s

Both are good finds but IMO for the extra £220 for Tiagra and hydraulic disks is the way to go if the budget allows. I've had Claris stuff over the years and it looks great at the start but does show signs of aging after a year or two. Still very serviceable but the coating begins to peel on some components. This is assuming the buyer is a beanpole lol.

I agree to a point...

For an enthusiast bike tiagra us the way forward.

For a commuting bike claris is functional less desirable equally reliable and cheaper to replace.

Felt VR40 aluminium road bike £599 (61 cm size only)
Tiagra 10 speed, hydraulic disc brakes
Black Friday price. Been £699 for months, probably dropped as there's only beanpole size left

As good as the deals may be: on a brand new IPhone and with great internet - the Merlin website is tiresome. Maybe it’s the time of the day. Or maybe it’s done me a favour not being able to see all the deals 😉
