David let us know how the Tenn stuff worksout...isit cheap rubbish or good value?

I have worn two of these items today the jersey and the shorts and they seem really good. My back was sweaty after cycling to work but dried quickly. I don't think wicking stops you from getting damp with perspiration but it does enable your skin to dry quicker. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I also bought these...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hi-Viz-Ye...Men_s_Accessories_UK&var=&hash=item68c774273f

They arrived today and I only ordered them yesterday which is fantastic. They were £9.99 which again if fantastic.
They are without a doubt the best cycling gloves I have ever seen. Definately for the winter though. They are not far off motorcycle gloves they are that substantial. These gloves are the canines lick biscuits.

I can't see why I've been paying out £40-60 for cycling clothing when this supplier exists.

Or the way I've been buying from them which is... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Thermal-C...=UK_Cycling_Clothing&var=&hash=item68c77426ef

This supplier is fine for me and admittedly this is my opinion. If you choose to buy from them I hope you're as happy as I am. At these prices compared to the high street theres really nothing to lose imho.

I'm just sharing in the spirit of the thread.

The gloves are great and I used them all last year through that rather chilly winter, brrrrrr.

They work great but I found getting inners was a good idea, as they can get a bit pongy and hard to dry. I suppose thats the insulation and waterproofing. They are a great item and I have them lined up for the coming months. I remember cycling home one night and frsot had formed on the outside of the gloves by the time I got home. My hands were fine

I got some of these silk glove liners from Decathlon the other day. Instore (in Sheffield at least), they're only actually £4.59, which I thought was rather good. Will be combining them with my Aldi winter gloves in the coldest weather.

Came across the following, which seemed particularly relevant as someone had asked about reflectors and SPD/flat pedal combos in a couple of other threads.

Wellgo M919 Double Sided SPD Clipless Pedals with Flat Shoe / Reflector Adapter £14.99 (was £29.99) + £2.50 delivery.

Also, from the thread on places to buy cheap protein bars, 11 energy gel/drink items for a fiver delivered from http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/?fh_secondid=hig02d08302&fh_view=detail&fh_location=//root/en_GB/onpromotion>{special20offers}

Bought the same jersey, and will be wearing it tomorrow on the fnrttc with a couple of other layers, it is very comfortable and reasonably warm. The only issue, for me anyway, are the small pockets, but it is sold as a winter 'race' jacket.

I bought this yesterday from Argos. Seems like a damn fine thing.
Reduced from £8.99-£2.99

Oh and I also got some new pedals for my MTB from Wilkinsons. They seem really strong and chunky and were less than a fiver. These are them.

I hope people don't mind me sharing all this with stuff  but I have always searched out the bargains in everything. I'm pretty much a make do and mend sort of chap.

Been to Lidl this morning and bought the 3 watt LED light set for 8.99 works well. Rear Pannier set with a detachable top case which I am impressed with. Bought 2pr gloves and 2pr socks which always come in handy......

Off to work now................................
