Great for storing bikes without having to resort to leaning them against walls etc.

Only one I'm afraid. By way of comparison the Ribble 'Lifeline' version is on offer at the moment at 14.99 reduced from 24.99, and the Probike one is 19.99 reduced from 24.99. I already had 2 of the ALDI version which has a slightly different construction (bought full price in the past - 9.99 maybe?) and 2 of the other sort. Guess how many bikes I've got?

The desire for new tubes was caused by swapping from winter tyres (Conti Top Contact Winter 37 (actually 31)) to summer tyres (Voyager Hyper 37), which revealed that I'd had my first puncture of the year a couple of months ago.
I'd been having to pump up the rear tyre every 2 or 3 days. I'd guessed there was probably a thorn in it, but an external inspection showed nothing, so I didn't find it until I changed tyres and looked on the inside.

The punctured tube was a Vittoria 700x38-45, and I figured that continuing rideable for a couple of months with a 1 cm thorn through it showed that it was a good tube, so I went looking for more, and was pleased to find I only had to pay 99p rather than a more normal £4-£5.

The ones I bought are for 'parking' the bikes only. A lot of bike shops use similar for display. That axle clamping one looks a bit fiddly if you just need to park your bike although I can see it being useful for some maintenance tasks. The Raleigh one looks to be very similar to many others selling around 29.99

Yes, the axle-clamper is fiddly and really it's only for light maintenance (as I broke the plastic clamping bits on mine...).

Yes, there are lots for about £30 but the Raleigh brand still has a dealer network and hopefully a bit more Quality Assurance checking than a "Homcom" or whatever. The RRP is £55, so I thought it qualified as a bargain compared to some of what gets posted here
