That's what I mean. The VAR has to be used if and when there's a disputable or doubtful moment of play, particularly if a goal has/hasn't been scored.

Would like to see each team get, say, three opportunities to ask for a review per half, with an extra one added if a game goes to extra time.
In Test cricket, each side has two referrals in the space of 80 overs. If they are correct in challenging the umpires decision, they don't lose a review.
Maybe something similar could be used in the large competitions like the World Cup or European Championships with all the dozens of cameras being available for evidence.
