Hope all the hype pays off..
I'm predicting 2-1 England
Good shout I reckon. Early Tunisia goal, panic stations, scrappy win, deflated sense of "well other big sides have been pish so..."
Hope all the hype pays off..
I'm predicting 2-1 England
1978 (like 1974, one of the World Cups when England failed to qualify); I remember this like it was yesterday:
predicting 2-1 England
I didn’t know Predicting was playing, but I agree they’ll have the upper hand by full time.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-44372971I can predict with confidence there will be exactly 0 fans from either side in Stalingrad tonight.
I've just dug the same shirt out. We're on about the reversible one with the badge in the middle and red on the back of the shoulders aren't we?. Mine's a bit big,as it's an XL,i'm now a large or a medium. I think i'll wear it though as It's in good nick having hardly been worn. The Nike England shirts are so bland, compared to such shirts as the 2003 / 2005 one!Not sure whether to don my 2004 (slightly knackered) England top tonight? Didn't bring much luck in Lisbon so don't want to tempt fate...tough one?
Interesting shirt fact #16:
In the 1960s, England had planned to have adopt a pink home shirt but every time they put the red away and white home shirts in the same wash nothing happened. Their kit man at the time was Harry "cool wash" Cotton, brother of Albert Square's Dot Cotton.
Did you know that Harry went on to become the first manager of Fulchester United?
Rather enjoyed the first half of Sweden v South Korea.
