Hang on, I know that finding the right saddle is all about trial and error but I'd be wary of buying one based purely on looks. Or am I missing something?
I did...and it's my least comfortable saddle...looks good on the bike though

You can get Fizik test saddles, might be worthwhile before hunting out the red one

Yeah, I just think the original one looks a bit bland on top (too much white) so I was looking for something more colourful, you're right about the comfort I guess but I'd rather buy on the internet where there's a lot more choice between saddles ;)
So it is really a red saddle that you are looking for, not that particular shape? How about this one. I have a (similar) Charge Spoon on my new CX bike and I find it pretty comfortable, though that doesn't guarantee that you would.

I ended up buying this one:

Now there's something else I'd like to ask: will their red bar tape match the red saddle or are those two different kinds of red ?

I do believe that's the Arione. This is a completely different shape to your original post. Buying a saddle because you like the look of it alone is just ludicrous.

I hope it fits you though, as it truly is a great saddle. I have it in B&W and really is comfortable, as long as it fits your sit bones.

I have tried one of those but couldn't get on with it and it was really uncomfortable.
However the aliante which was the original one is a brilliant saddle for me and I have one on all of my 3 bikes.
Leys hope the op can get on with it as its designed for supple racing types

My bike came with a more padded Selle saddle, which looks more comfortable, but was making it unrideable after 35 miles. The Arione is thinner, harder and less padded, but infinitely more comfortable even on rides above 90 miles.

It's all about the shape and the Aliante is the shape for you it seems.

As others have said, choosing a saddle because of its colour or shape is wrong, especcially when it regards Fizik saddles. All the models are made in just one size so you have to choose the model which fits your sit bones. For example, an Arione is a 132mm and an Aliante 140mm. I had an Arione and got on with it well, till I had a bike fit and found it was the wrong size for me as my hips were rocking whilst pedalling, they fitted an Aliante and it supported my sit bones better and prevented the rocking action making pedalling easier. Out on the road, the Aliante was a far better saddle and distances of 200+ a day was well in the comfort zone whereas on the Arione about 150 was enough for the day I found and fitted them to all my bikes apart for one which has a Brooks.

I'm a rather skinny guy so I figured I'd do best by buying this one. Besides the saddle I currently have, has +- the same shape as the arione. I don't have any fizzik dealers in my vicinity so I had to take the risk by buying online. Pretty sure it will fit me though...

And if it doesn't - will you convince yourself that it does?
No. He will box it back up and return it in mint condition under the distance selling regulations. Just like others before him. He is in a tricky position if can't actually buy locally, in fairness.

Well, I suppose it is similar to NOT riding 'the most comfortable saddle in the world' because of its looks!

I have that saddle on my TT bike, its superbly comfortable as theres no nose to dig into the undercarriage soft tissue

I can quite believe that.

The problem is that it looks so ferkin ugly! (IMHO. beauty in the eye of the beholder, and all that ...)
Its certainly not a thing of beauty - but then neither am i when i cross the finish line on a 10TT lol
