Fixing a Bosch dishwasher - help!

It was ages ago when I had the same problem and I think it was just the lid I had to replace.

Is there a 1st rinse cycle ? I thought it was pump out - wash - pump out - rinse - dry.

If there is one, I would just open the door and lob in the tablet after 5 mins.
