Fish fingers

May I offer for your consideration a chunky fish finger sandwich with tartar sauce and mixed salad leaves.

Pointless observation really but working in the frozen food industry between to 70s and 2000, I remember.our site manager quoting the fact that (at that time an unknown manufacturer) fish fingers had an average actual fish content of....next to bugger all.

Still get battered ones in our local Co-op

Todays lunch included Yellowfin Sole Goujons. They had a crispy crumb coating, but I shoved them in a sarnie anyway; sometimes I can't get enough bread.
An acceptable snack, but not delicious; a bit old and freezer burned, plus I still have no tartare sauce. Lemon juice might have worked.

2/5; time to get some Birds Eye 'fingers in.
