Although it's a pain, if using clinchers (decent quality, none of this cheap Chinese rubbish) latex inner tubes make a difference. They flex a bit more so give a nicer ride. You are using 25c, I hope, faster smoother ride, less rolling resistance. The only downside is that latex is a bit more porous so they need pumping more often. Of course, tubs are best...but less convenient.
