I'm working today so bed early last night and I was concerned a couple if houses seemed to be 'lively'. Plenty if fireworks going off at 10.30 but either they stopped for a while or I just fell asleep through them but my wife said it was like Chinese new year at midnight, worse than she's ever heard it round here. Mercifully...I.or the chilblains we were babysitting, never heard a thing.
Fireworks are great if you don't have to be up, or have jittery kids that need sleep, or a jittery dog. Seems only my wife was affected.

I was out with the dog at 7:30 this morning, around 8am somebody let a load of very loud fireworks off, in my mind they were somebody who wanted to sleep last night & it was a retaliation against somebody who didn't get to bed until very late. But maybe they were just idiots.
