A good Rioja, my Dad gets boxes of the stuff from Laithwaites. Too many good ones to pick a particular one out........... I have also pondered the fact that it is free and probably tastes so much better because of this

Far too many good wines to choose from.

'Gun against head' choice tonight would probably be something along the lines of an Aussie Shiraz, maybe Jim Barry Armagh or Henschke Hill of Grace. But only 'cos it's cold outside...

White- Frascati. Absolutely divine with the right meal. Also like Pinot Grigio. Avoid other whites.
Red - Like most red but try to avoid very sulphitey ones, you know the ones that knock you out and make you quite dehydrated and make your jaw hurt.
