Pickle and peanut butter. For some reason, everyone acts like you just admitted to a scat fetish whenever you tell them you're eating it. Yet not a single one has ever tried it.

I've never tried setting fire to my legs either...

I've had this exact argument, actually, except it was 'I've never stabbed myself either'. If it wasn't delicious, I wouldn't be eating it on a regular basis.

Eating these wonderful constructions of bread and spread are a far shot from self-harm.

If I'm making it, then ham, lettuce and cucumber. Always.

If buying then it tends to be bacon or bacon and brie, depending on the availability of brie. Possibly sausage. A delicious if messy sandwich memory involved sausage, bacon and fried egg. :hungry:

I'm a professional sandwich maker (having been paid to make sandwiches makes me a professional ok!) but I don't like all these fancy fillings with chicken tikka or cajun beef. Those things go on your plate with rice not between two slices of bread with a bit of lettuce!
My favourite sandwich is steak and mushrooms with salad and cheese on top, best made using a ciabatta or baguette.
For a lunch time sandwich I prefer ham and edam sometimes with sliced egg and salad cream.

Love beetroot, although never thought of putting it in a risotto!

We've been living off beetroot, fennel and celeriac frittatas recently:rolleyes:

I expect you'll have it again. Unless you abandon your sandwich perversion.

Our kids would go mental if we put that in front of them, mind you I would too.
