what tyres do you use on your road bike and why?
Specialized All Condition Armadillo 700cx23. Puncture resistance and durability.what tyres do you use on your road bike and why?
P'ture wise they are great (I dont think I ever p'tured) but they let me down frequently grip wise, perhaps I needed a blue pairVitorria Rubino's, Blue of course.
Done thousands of miles on them in dry and wet weather and they very rarely let me down.

Back to the original question I think my favourite tyres are GP4000s or GP 4 seasons, having said that I've just fitted Mitch Carbons as they were a lot cheaper but if they live up to the hype they'll be my favourite. I only had them 720miles but they haven't let me down in that time.
I've a mate who swears by them, in his words the grippiest tyres he's had. I considered them but some reviews say they wear/ cut up easy. How are you finding them?Michelin Pro Race - God's choice of tyre.
Yeah, I've heard a few reviews saying the are grippy and equal amount saying there notIsn't it strange that one mans meat is another mans poison in regards to tyres.
You say you had trouble with grip, yet I find them very grippy.
Strange ain't it?
