Sad tale. But, life's too short to let a situation fester over an amount you can afford to lose. Turn the tables, let him know that he has now had his inheritance, and get back to normal. :okay:

No, he has his own place with his girlfriend and two kids.

Setting such a terrible example. Perhaps if you are okay not getting the money back I would get in contact saying this but explain that you would like an apology. Then at least you can still be part of your great grandkids lives.

Have a word with his mother/father depending on which is your child and ask them (depending on how good your relationship is with her/him) WTF is he (the grandchild) playing at.

Tell them in no uncertain terms that his behaviour was, at best, disappointing, but you would like to give him A chance to talk to you and apologise, and make amends, seeing as it made you angry and annoyed at his nonchalant attitude. If he fails to man-up and admit he was 'out of order' then tell him he shouldn't be expecting any social calls or favours for quite a while.

So he is man enough to have children
Anyone can have children, but it takes a real man to be a good father.

No problem with his kids as I still see them ( when he is not there).

lets hope nobody does anything remotely serious or who knows what you'd do, because this in the scheme of things is very minor, and no love is unconditional we all make mistakes, move on and continue to love, forgive, thats life, people seem to be obsessed with some form of retribution rather than talking it out, rebuild and move on.....
Blatantly taking the P like that is not something I'd consider very minor, particularly the misuse of a card. I could never have any feelings for someone who treated me with contempt.

Family can be a very over rated condition IMO.

Have a look in the mirror. If you see the word "mug" written on your forehead, then carry on lending money to your grandson till he's bled you dry, otherwise never give him a penny till he pays you back.
