Experiments with Rapid Rise derailleur

the intuitive logic of these RR derailleurs is quite helpful. On flat bar bikes you push the shifters if you need to go to a higher gear and pull/release to go to a lower gear.

On the right hand side of a flat bar bike with typical derailleur, as you say @Mike Ayling: "Release gets you a higher gear, push for a lower gear."
However on both sides of a flat bar bike with rapid rise RD, release gets you a lower gear, push for a higher gear.
@Mike Ayling - do you like your rapid rise shifters (see thread title)? Do yours work a different way?
