I had on due yesterday, he didnt bother attempting delivery - he just pressed the button that says "you were out, well try to deliver tmr"

delivered this morning, but I reckon there is a lot of staff shortages so runs are pulled and delivered every other day rather than daily service.

It turned up whilst we were out

Think they do that deliberately
i have a delivery tomorrow stated due to be delivered between 0751 and 1151. Can guarantee if i stay in 1151 will pass without a delivery occurring but if I go out even for half an hour in that time period it will be delivered.

Been waiting for 4 days, gets an email 16:00 to 18:00 for delivery at 15:25 gets this:-
As we haven't been able to deliver your parcel we'll now return it to sender.
Please get in touch with the sender to find out more.

FFS whats the hell up with them as I have been in all afternoon .......... Ahhhhhh

I don’t have a safe place set for my address with any courier as there isn’t one. How, today DPD seemed to think that leaving my parcel outside of a locked entrance to the block of apartments (effectively on the street) was safe!

Then they had the audacity to state it was delivered to me in person. A tremendous achievement as I’m 200 miles away from home at the moment sitting in a hotel.

Hopefully the person who subsequently nicked the parcel is able to make good use of the contents.

There are plenty of Evri complaints on a local Facebook page coming up to Christmas! Parcels going missing, parcels delivered to the wrong address, parcels being left on doorsteps inviting thieves to take them, parcels damaged, parcels with the wrong items inside, which to be fair isn't the fault of Evri. Amazon are just as bad I'd say! I got home this evening to see an Amazon parcel for an address I'd say is about half a mile away, left in my bottles and tins recycling bin!! I've taken it inside my flat and posted on the Facebook page asking the intended recipient to come and collect it. Sadly they replied saying it can't be their's as they haven't ordered anything, so I'll now have to keep the parcel here till someone hopefully turns up to collect it. I've ordered a quite expensive item for myself. The courier is DPD who've delivered stuff to me before from the same company and so far I haven't had any problems with the courier or the company I've bought the item off. Fingers crossed it'll reach me either tomorrow or Sunday without raising my blood pressure!

Does anyone know a contact telephone number for Evri that does not involve talking to a machine?

Their listed number 0330 808 5456 is menu-driven bollox which tells me what I already know; my parcel is more than 10 days overdue.

As the sender, I consider the parcel lost and want to claim compensation but can’t find a way past Evri’s blocks to submit my claim.

Anyone already done this?

Do you have a smartphone? Have you tried using the app?
