Sorry to reply to an old thread, but I'm so embarrassed. I'm working at home, and have the TV on just as background noise. I went up to the loo, and heard my laptop ringing, so rushed downstairs to answer it. It was my boss. I think I heard her chuckle. Because all she saw and heard was the TV on, then me muting myself to switch it off, and then me running back to the laptop with my trousres undone and my belt flapping everywhere.

@Electric_Andy, standard behaviour in my company, plenty work in PJ’s and cosy clothing and have pets/children buzzing round in the background. Quite often my children make an impromptu appearance around school times. We’ve just got used to
it, as long as the work gets done no one cares.

Today he hopped on the desk when I was in the middle of giving a presentation. Today’s Portuguese audience were amused as I chucked him off, last week’s Czechs less so!!
He can obviously hear me and thinks he should be the centre of attention
