Pushing off from the traffic lights on my way to work on Thursday. I left my shoe behind

Stony-faced Mercedes driver behind me failed to see the funny side. He had to wait for another light change whilst I retrieved said shoe

Anyone else red-faced this week?

Shame, never mind eh - fat git in car could have had a little laugh.

Get clipless for that tank !!! The shoes stay on pedals, and your feet.. or as the fellas would say - get proper shoes - they don't fall off - you ladies........

Clipless on a Pashley Princess would be wrong. Just... wrong.

It's a timelss, beautiful bike intended to be ridden by beautiful women, preferably with flowing hair, and probably in Laura Ashley print dresses and strappy sandals. If they choose to drop their shoes m at traffic lights, well that gives us all the more time to admire them. (The women, not the shoes, but hey, whatever floats your boat). (It might catch on as a new flirting technique. Like medieval damsels dropping gloves for gallant knights to pick up).

I don't think Laura Ashley do an SPD strappy sandal, do they?

Was it midnight? Was it a crystal shoe? Did your bike turn into a pumpkin? Will there be a Prince Charming coming along?

No Prince Charming on this occasion sadly. Although the Pashley does tend to bring out chivalry in fellas though - yesterday a lovely guy lifted it off the train for me.
