No it's a year old off eBay, and I work at a well known chicken restaurant, no not that one..... The other one

I fail to see how that would have any sway in getting Evans to fix your bike for free?

You have a Carrera Zelos - They are fitted with Tourney gears and shifters which are to the best of my knowledge always 7 gears and 7 speed shifters. My Zelos certainly was.

It was bought off ebay so it's possible the previous owner changed some parts.
