My dyslexic OH is anbsolutely fabulous at map reading. Apparently this is a common feature of dyslexia.

I think there is a difference between those whose posts - all of them - clearly indicate an ... (and I'm probably using the wrong word here but I hope you'll understand) ... 'issue' with their spelling and grammar and those who are just too lazy to bother to check what they have written.

Anyone who has read your posts @stuee147 cannot help but be amazed, in awe (and highly envious ) of your clear thought processes, technical skill/ ability to translate those to practical works and to admire the beauty of the finished result !

OK, so your spelling and grammar might not be as good as, say, mine - but I am very envious of your metal-work and welding skills, in addition to your other mechanical knowledge and ability. My spelling/grammar don't bring as much of a  (or £££ :headshake:) to me as your welding etc do to you !

I'm just waiting to see your Trike Mk 2 in the flesh :wahhey: and have a 'bent ride-out ! :hyper:
doesn't not don't
sorry!

to be fair i pretty much always miss out capital letters apart from Sweden as i happen to prefer Sweden to england or so  sorry. oh and i don't bother with a capital I when talking about my self as well i guess i'm just not that important   and my punctuation is absolutely almost non-existent
see we aren't all as perfect as you @stuee147
i know a good friend of mine and he is fairly heavily/badly dyslexic and struggles to spell most things
Cheers Ed

I think it's just human nature to an extent.

People who are knowledgeable or talented in a certain field will often attempt to belittle those who aren't.
