Barnet,
Given up today, fancied a pint of ale instead of lime and soda, so I caved in.

edit---I will try to cut down my consumption somewhat though.

Also, I posted a lie: I'm 99.9% sure I drank Jupiler 0,0% in the Belgian Monk in Norwich last month.

Not completely dry January but decided I was drinking too much with a glass or two of wine every night, so now decided to drink wine only for three nights at the weekend. This is the second week of this regime and each week I've had a severe headache on the Wednesday, there is no justice!

After my relapse the other day, i have been good. Instead of reaching for a beer, i reached for my lycra and did a turbo session. My slow zwift caricature makes the drinking silly, so maybe that's my anti beer potion.

So they're cheating and just avoiding pubs for a month?
How is that 'cheating'?

Oh, I suspect that sort of person is avoiding the drinks aisle of the supermarket, dinners out, evening meetings and so on for the month, too. And that sort is probably too scared to ask the layabouts in the park for a tin!
A lot of the people on here drink too much, too often at home. Whatever their definition of 'too much'.
Including me, which is why I'm making an effort and the dry January is a good kickstarter.
I'm not sure why you're so keen to demean those efforts.
