Hopefully drier means less precipitation hence little to no snow.

Snow never used to keep me off the bike or stop me riding to work. Indeed, it's a rare chance to practice certain clipped-in skills you'd never get to rehearse anywhere else unless you owned a skating rink.

Skills like falling off and breaking stuff, on the bike and me? I'm quite new to riding clipped-in and have zero desire to do so in rush hour traffic even when the surface isn't potentially treacherous.

Also, it's picturesque for an hour or so then it's grey, wet and miserable for several days.
