I've been onto this for over a year. Colin_P have a look on Astons site(Royal exchange Mcr).
It takes a little getting used to, don't think of it as shaving it off but reducing it with a few passes.
There's plenty of youtube stuff to watch.
Try an old 'Rolls Razor' with self stropping blade - amazing things.
PS - + about 100 for the badger hair brush all the nylon things are good for is cleaning the bike chain
