10miles I agree, 20miles I disagree.Tell your legs to shut up and carry on.
In the grand scheme of things 10 miles is nothing, that is food and water is never going to be an issue(unless your blasting the whole ten miles)
I'm really talking in terms of food and water, if you're properly hydrated and fed before starting the ten miles then food/drink is not an issue.BSRU in the scheme of things 10 miles may be nothing but for me right now as a new cyclist its more than i thought i would be able to do so i suspect its alol relative. 750 ml/hr, between dringing and peeing i would be off the bike more than on it.
I also agree, the longer you're riding the more important food and hydration becomes.10miles I agree, 20miles I disagree.
No, you'll be using up the fluid so pee much less if at all. Get a bottle cage and practice drinking whilst riding as you really don't need to stop to drink.BSRU in the scheme of things 10 miles may be nothing but for me right now as a new cyclist its more than i thought i would be able to do so i suspect its alol relative. 750 ml/hr, between dringing and peeing i would be off the bike more than on it.

I think next tuesday im just going to go for a longer ride and plan a halfway stop. I seem to think stopping is cheating !!
