Nowhere near that bad myself but, I can't ride the Ribble (or it's predecessor; the Dyna-Tech) in shorts

Shorts, together with mudguards, is just wrong

Although.... my helmet is blue/black, the road Sidis are blue (old mid-90's Genius), & club kit is (mainly) blue, black & yellow

I dress to suit the activity I will undertake at the end of the trip and have never considered matching clothing and bicycle colours.

Not on purpose but everything is black! Matt black bike and most of my kit is black with a bit of white accents here and there! Thems the rules!
