Oaf on a Bike
A little bit, but my main bike is black and red, but I prefer blues clothingwise, so look a bit like a jumble sale

Stood next to my car the other day (metallic blue, black interior) on my bike (matt black and white frame, blue tyres, blue saddle trim, blue bar tape) in shorts (black), helmet (blue black and white), jersey (blue and white), shoes (black) and glasses (white frames, blue lenses). So it turns out I _do_ have a favourite colour scheme

no.... I have 3 bikes... one is black and white, one is red & black and the other is bright yellow.
The idea of having 3 separate outfits for the 3 separate bikes adds £££'s to cycling which I can't afford.
And you need multiple combinations for each bike , its never ending !
I am in a similar position as i have a blue, white and grey bikes so i just wear whatever kit has reappeared from the laundry .Most of my jerseys ar either aldi or ebay specials apart from the club jersey .Shorts are all decathlon jobbies as i draw the line at second hand shorts

You mention plurals there  . I have a single short sleeved jersey, one set of 3/4 length shorts and one set of winter bib tights, dedicated cycling waterproofs, leg warmers, 1 mountain bike helmet, gloves (OK they are plural) and that is it - all black or black & white so at least they match (exluding the waterproof top). I don't have much more in the way of 'everyday' clothing either.

Come the end of next month, I should probably get round to updating my CV which is 10 years out of date (that's 1 job & an aborted world tour) and get around to looking for a job - no point in doing it any soon, going on a 3 week cycling tour. Then I might splash out and buy that long sleeved windproof jersey and autumn leggings I need/want.

Unfortunately with commuting unless i have mulitples i would never have anything to wear.

i'm not too fussed about kit matching bikes, although on the 'found a bargain' thread I resisted buying some new road shoes that were good value because they were red & none of my bikes have any red, but mainly blues

SPD shoes, a SPecialised Prevail helmet and Rudy Project Ketyium.

Probably not the ideal match for this:

I wear black shorts and shoes. Normally wear black socks until someone bought me some white ones (not a good look with black shoes). Just realised that all of my jerseys have some blue in them, which I guess, matches my helmet which is blue and white, but blue is never the dominating colour. Not bothered about matching though, I just pick a jersey I like the look of.
