Jersey even matches the tyres,

Stood next to my car the other day (metallic blue, black interior) on my bike (matt black and white frame, blue tyres, blue saddle trim, blue bar tape) in shorts (black), helmet (blue black and white), jersey (blue and white), shoes (black) and glasses (white frames, blue lenses). So it turns out I _do_ have a favourite colour scheme
And you need multiple combinations for each bike , its never ending !no.... I have 3 bikes... one is black and white, one is red & black and the other is bright yellow.
The idea of having 3 separate outfits for the 3 separate bikes adds £££'s to cycling which I can't afford.
You mention plurals there . I have a single short sleeved jersey, one set of 3/4 length shorts and one set of winter bib tights, dedicated cycling waterproofs, leg warmers, 1 mountain bike helmet, gloves (OK they are plural) and that is it - all black or black & white so at least they match (exluding the waterproof top). I don't have much more in the way of 'everyday' clothing either. And you need multiple combinations for each bike , its never ending !
I am in a similar position as i have a blue, white and grey bikes so i just wear whatever kit has reappeared from the laundry .Most of my jerseys ar either aldi or ebay specials apart from the club jersey .Shorts are all decathlon jobbies as i draw the line at second hand shorts
Unfortunately with commuting unless i have mulitples i would never have anything to wear. You mention plurals there . Come the end of next month, I should probably get round to updating my CV which is 10 years out of date (that's 1 job & an aborted world tour) and get around to looking for a job - no point in doing it any soon, going on a 3 week cycling tour. Then I might splash out and buy that long sleeved windproof jersey and autumn leggings I need/want.
All sounds good to me! If other people do it then I know I shouldn't look like a divvy haha
