I liked primary school but then 1st and 2nd year of secondary school were a bit of a nightmare due to bullying. However in 3rd year the main protagonist moved school so the rest of my school career was OK

I was OK with school until my parents moved us from Merseyside to Kilmarnock in the mid '60's. Found myself the only English person in a school of 1700 sweaty socks. Now I am not saying that all of them were racist bigots with a poor knowledge of their own history but just about everything from the Highland clearances to every and all to frequent defeats any Scots team by any team remotely English was down me. Oh joy! Complain about bullying to the teachers (all scots) got a blank distant stares and comments like “What do you expect you’re English for Gods sake!” So in answer to the question did I enjoy it, eh……. No

Hated every minute of school, teachers and fellow pupils. I will never join that friends reunited bollix.. I have only ever stayed in contact with one mate from the whole of my school days.

I have been to a school reunion twice, the first and the last time !
All the tossers at school were still tossers. ;)

My best day at school was the day I left

Hated it and could not wait to leave. Birthday is in July after exams so I actually left school when I was 15.
With the wisdom of age I really regret not staying on for A levels and whatever after but really you cannot go around full of "what if" as about the same number of doors open as close.
Touch typing. I did not go near a keyboard until I was about 40 and found myself in a job needing a fair bit of typing. The usual two-finger typing gave me a neck ache so I got a teach yourself disc and found it really good and fairly easy. Now I cannot undertstand why so many people who use the computer so much dont learn to touch type. I am really trying to get my kids to learn but they will not.
