The peloton knew Vini Fantini weren't trustworthy: was the talking point for the first week of the Giro (until misery & survival took over).

What beggars belief though is that a rider already flying above the radar and involved in another investigation would dope again. Is EPO as addictive as crack or is he (they) a complete farking idiot?
The chances are he'd have got a slap on the wrist and a 3 month ban from Mantova, a la Scarponi.
