That is lovely. Have you looked at the Ribble Aero TT frame though? £635 for the frame fork and seatpost. Spend another £400 on a 105 groupset and maybe another £300 on headset, some tasty aero bars, saddle etc, and with £2000 to spend you'd have enough money left for some deep section rims and nice tyres.

I always think aero frames look odd with regular wheels and it kind of defeats the purpose. Aero rims will make more of a difference in a TT than a slippery frame will.

Good luck for the final, although you will need to go A LOT quicker to be anywhere near the top, sorry to put it bluntly but it is the truth.

Which region did you enter?

what time do ineed to look at getting

Well out it this way, I did a 24-53 in the 15 year old category (even though I am only 14 but my b'day is on the 22nd august so I am only 15 for like 9 days of the year in which I am down as 15 on the entry if that makes sense:wacko:) Anyway, the winning time ofr our region was 21-22 I think, and I doubt he will be the quickest in the final!

But give it your best shot anyway and I wish you the best of luck!, do you know which course it is on yet?

all i know is that it is in the west midlands
im going to train like stink this holliday then and atleast try to get it down 24 mins hopfully on a still course i can get 26 mins easy so hopfully it will be good
i also no that the course is really smooth and you could take 2 mins off your time anyway.
thanks for giving me the times i need to get.
when i started in june i was doing 34min 10mile trials now down to 26-27mins quite easy so if i train i might be able to get to that level.

it's gonna be hard, but it sounds achievable, have you got a coach/are you in a club?

also when doing intervals should you get up to outer limits and keep it up for 1 minuite or whatever. cheers

Honestly, use your coach! We are too young to know exactly what works and what doesn't, using your coach will save you valuble time as you won't have to do the trial and error phase of training. For intervals different people reccomend different things, but from what I have heard you should try as hard as you can for 4 minutes, then have a 2 minute rest and repeat this about 4 times to start off with. AS you get fitter you can increase the amount of reps, or decrease the rest time. eventually, I have been told, that you should do the 'on' time of the interval for the amount of time you tt for, so if you want to do 24 minutes lets say, you need to do 6 of the repititions, which will be tough, but worthwhile IMO. Do you have a turbo trainer or is all your training on the road?
