Decent waterproof winter gloves

You could try normal gloves with Goretex shell mitts over the top. I have some of these made by Trekmates I think and they're as good as anything at keeping my hands dry in the rain with the added advantage of being able to slip them off when the rain stops so I don't get sweaty hands like I do with every other waterproof/breathable glove I've ever used.

After a lot of reading reviews, comments, etc, I bought a pair of Sealskinz All Weather Cycle Gloves and they are no good in a Scottish downpour, hands were sopping wet
