We have a superfast rider from the nineties on here, but I doubt he would have volunteered for this event.

The ability to ride fast for an hour or two is not a lot of help when it comes to the swim and run.

Paging the best triathlete in the house.
Just had a Henley Iron man here this afternoon, he would not have fancied the challenge, or so he told me. He is doing the Alpe Duez tri this year so I do question his sanity. Kids, you never stop being concerned for them.

What has that got to do with what Davina finished this week?

To be honest from here it shows a dangerous attitude to riding a bike.
... cool.
I wouldn't of said so, seems to demonstrate the other thread about 'why do people hate cyclists' more than this one

Never mind waving it around, she should not have been wearing it. It would have been quite easy for her to have taken it off and refused to drape it over her shoulders - I might even have said "well done" to her for that. However, she didn't. So I won't.

If she'd done as you'd suggested, there would be a massive uproar that she's been unpatriotic/insulting the flag/a Muslim *

Do you really think someone would have taken off a flag draped over their shoulders?

* insert insult of your choice depending upon which newspaper you read.
Which other thread Big Nick?

And how does the vid of the 2 cyclists demonstrate the other thread about 'why ...people hate cyclists' Big Nick?

And please be specific Big Nick.

The floor is yours. Under the rules I get to ask 3 times. So...

The thread called exactly that!

Racing on the road be that in a car or on a bike is not cool in my book which is what these two are doing, save it for a deserted country lane if you have to but not a built up area with numerous other road users and pedestrians.

Threading between the bus and the cars at speed with no idea what you'll find in front of that bus

Is that specific enough?

The floor is yours again Crock
Remember this is the CS7 stretch between Clapham North and Stockwell so... no. In fact I don't even think CS7 was open then. You mentioned that the video demonstrated 'why people hate cyclists'.

There's no right and wrong opinion Crock, only opinion

Mine is some car drivers, cyclists and pedestrians would find that sort of riding aggressive in that environment and slag the cyclists involved, yours isn't, fair enough.

Racing:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Origamist is half trying there:laugh::laugh::laugh:

He is a very very safe and competent cyclist.

I'm sure the "haters" in those cars must be hating more after that.:rolleyes:
